Charity: ReGeneration

re-generation (documentary 2010)Back to Charity

As reported on the IMDb site, ReGENERATION explores the inherent cynicism found in many of today's youth and young adults, and the influences that perpetuate our culture's apathetic approach to social and political causes. The film features three intersecting stories of students, parents, and artists all looking for their place in society. Together they capture the thoughts and feelings of today's struggling generation as some of the worlds leading scholars, activists, and media personalities provide their insight into the ideas and movements that can inspire change.

Written by Philip Montgomer, Ryan was producer (along with Anonymous Content’s Matt DeRoss and Engine 7 Films’ Joel Goulder and Jeremy Goulder) and narrator for this movie.

About Ryan, Montgomery said:
“It is an honor to work with one of the most talented and intelligent artists of our generation. As a socially conscious individual himself, Ryan brings an inspired freshness to the films core message of hope and action. There is truly no better voice to guide us through this film.”

ReGeneration had its world premiere at the Seattle International Film Festival in 2010,where the film won the Youth Jury Award for Best FutureWave Feature.
