Solo: Put me in the Car

2006 JUST PUT ME IN THE CARBACK TO  SOLO<>

As you all well know, Ryan is a half of Dead Man's Bones but maybe few of you know Ryan was a singer years before forming the band with  Zach.

Yes, Gosadd. Ryan was yet a composer and a singer.

In the first years of the new Millennium Ryan sang his own songs and Cure's ones in clubs in Los Angeles.

In 2006 - when Ryan was quite unknown as actor and still into the net - he uploaded a song on his MySpace Channel (he also opened an account for his beloved George).

This song is Put me in the Car and it’s simply amazing.

On some sites devoted to Ryan I've read that No… this is not Ryan's voice so he is not.
Fake!

If we listen to Ryan's voice in the DMB'songs we notice the  voice is a little different: younger, more sweeter, less hoarse than now.

And what does this mean?

It means that there is a chance Put me in the car  is older than 2006 and maybe Ryan wrote (and sang) when he was younger.

Lyric:
Shadows are my friends
And the light hates my face
It hides behind the clouds
In its institute of grace
And our children warm their beds
With dreams of growing old
But deception has run rampant
And their futures have been mist old

Just put me in the car
And drive so far
Until I'm free again
And whisper in my ear
That all these years I've been dreaming
Then you kiss me goodnight

And it'll be all right
It'll be all right
It'll be all right
It'll be all that I have ever asked of you

Darkness thinks I'm pretty
And the rain covets my soul
But the women think I'm ugly
They care not for hearts of gold
And freedom teaches nothing
If only to create
Lately innocence is jaded
Only preachers hate

Just put me in the car
And drive so far
Until I'm free again
And whisper in my ear
That all these years I've been dreaming
 Then you kiss me goodnight

And it'll be all right
It'll be all right
It'll be all right
It'll be all that I have ever asked of you

Just put me in the car
And drive so far
Until I'm free again

Then you kiss me goodnight
And it'll be all right
It'll be all right
It'll be all right
It'll be all that I have ever asked of you
